Lindsay Lohan has reunited with her father Michael Lohan after three years or estrangement. The actress’ father traveled to Utah on Thursday to visit Lindsay at the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation center, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

“The moment Lindsay saw Michael, she started running and jumped into her father’s arms,” an eyewitness to the reunion tells E!. “Her father hugged her and swung her around. Lindsay was so happy. It was very emotional.”

According to E!, Michael spent several hours catching up with his 21-year-old daughter.

“I can’t comment on my relationship with my daughter,” says Michael. “But [the reunion] was amazing.”

He was released from prison in March after serving two years for driving while intoxicated and other charges. Lindsay, meanwhile, has been sentenced to serve one day in jail after reaching a plea deal on charges of drunken driving and cocaine possession.

“I’m so glad he’s visiting her,” Lindsay’s mother Dina tells 24Sizzler.com. “I really wanted her to have closure a really long time ago, so she could come to terms with the abusive behavior that myself and my children [Lindsay, Michael Jr., Dakota and Ali] endured when they were younger.”

24Sizzler reports that one purpose of the visit is for the actress to work through her issues with her father.

Dina says that her ex-husband (they divorced and 2005) and Lindsay are taking “baby steps” in developing a relationship. “Lindsay has to come to terms with it. It’s still her father, but you have to go through life and find closure.”

How is Lindsay doing during her third stint in rehab? “She’s doing well. I’m so proud of her. She’s grown up.”

As for Lindsay’s post-rehab plans, Dina’s main concern is intrusive photographers. “I’m petrified of the paparazzi. I’m afraid it’s going to be a frenzy when she’s out. I pray that it all works out well.”

A British heiress from a family worth $1.4 billion has started divorce proceedings after reports surfaced that her husband, Dead Stays Alive frontman Tony Allen, had sex with Lindsay Lohan while staying at the Cirque Lodge rehab clinic.

According to the Daily Mail, Stephanie Allen, 28, the packaging heiress whose family makes boxes for McDonald’s, filed 52 pages worth of divorce papers last week in in Savannah, Georgia’s Chatham County Court, identifying Lohan as one of the precipitators of the divorce.

In the claim, Stephanie, who is filing for custody of the couple’s 8-month-old twins, states that her marriage is “irretrievably broken” and points to Tony’s “adultery” and “cruel treatment” as grounds for the split. The papers also accuse the musician of being “guilty of habitual drug addiction.”

The lawyers do not name Lohan in the actual complaint but they refer to Tony’s “conduct and relationship with another woman,” and Exhibit ‘A’, which is attached to the divorce papers, includes articles claiming Lohan, 21, started a relationship with Tony Allen while they were both being treated at the Utah rehab clinic.

Lohan’s rep insists these allegations are untrue. “It’s unfortunate Stephanie Allen is blaming the demise of her marriage on Lindsay,” the rep tells Us exclusively. “Stephanie needs to look at her marriage to determine the reason why things went wrong because it has nothing to do with Lindsay. Lindsay and Tony are friends and that’s all. They are supporting one another through a similar experience. This is a friendship based on trust and mutual support and nothing else.”

The couple have been married since December 18, 2004, and started “living in a bona fide state of separation” about a month ago, according to the documents.

A large amount of money could be at stake in the divorce. In 2002, Stephanie’s father and four sisters sold their packaging business Linpac, for $1.4 billion, while maintaining a $197 million stake in the company.

In the affidavit, Stephanie states: “My husband entered a drug rehabilitation centre in Utah…on or about July 11, 2007. After my husband’s return from said rehabilitation I was bombarded by telephone call alerting me to the fact that my husband’s conduct with another woman was on the internet and in gossip magazines.”

Tony has also denied the rumors, saying: “We’re great friends. We share a common affliction, and we just talk about life sometimes.”

However, another report claims that Tony was overheard in a bar bragging to friends about sleeping with the actress: “C’mon, it’s Lindsay Lohan. Hell, yes! Wouldn’t you?”
